My journey into the world of honey began nearly a decade ago. It was fueled by a love for nature and a fascination with bees. I also had a wish to support the local beekeeping industry. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of running my own honey shop. I have worked alongside producers. I have represented Western Australian honey on the global stage.

At Harvest & Hive Collective, my mission is to share the stories behind the honey. Western Australia boasts some of the most pristine landscapes on Earth. It produces honey renowned for its purity. The honey also has unique flavors and medicinal qualities. But beyond the jars of golden sweetness lies a complex and vital industry.

This platform is here to educate, inspire, and connect. I aim to shine a light on the world of bees and honey. This includes understanding the differences between monofloral honeys, like Jarrah and Marri. It also involves exploring the challenges our local beekeepers face, for example the looming threat of the varroa mite.
